Job summary

Pioneer Power Group in the United States seeks detail-oriented Electrical Engineers to join our growing team. You will work directly with clients on power system studies, including load flow, short-circuit, and arc flash analyses, contributing to high-impact projects for diverse clients in commercial and industrial sectors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 2+ years of experience in an electrical engineering role.
• Experience performing power system studies (load flow, short circuit, coordination, arc flash).
• Proficiency with SKM/ETAP/EasyPower.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Self-starter mindset: organized, dependable, eager to learn.

Responsibilities

• Perform engineering studies for electrical distribution systems including short-circuit, coordination, arc flash analyses, load flow and motor starting studies.
• Evaluate protective device ratings and develop time-current coordination plots to optimize overcurrent settings.
• Provide recommendations to improve system reliability and safety.
• Review specifications, customer drawings and technical proposals; communicate project status to clients.
• Collaborate with senior engineers to scale and improve delivery of solutions; manage projects and related tasks as directed by leadership.
• Contribute to nationwide power system study projects.
