Job summary

Amphenol Communications Solutions (ACS), a division of Amphenol Corporation, is seeking a Power Systems Engineer to bridge system-level power architectures with connector and cable interconnect engineering. You will work directly with hyperscalers and partners to translate requirements into viable power interconnect solutions.

The role involves collaboration across engineering disciplines, design-in support at customer sites, and staying abreast of industry standards to influence roadmaps.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in power connector, systems engineering, or related discipline.
• 1+ years with Master’s degree in power connector, systems engineering, or related discipline.
• Foundational understanding of connector development and power architecture concepts.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customer engineering teams to capture requirements for power interconnect solutions.
• Translate system-level power architecture into connector and cable requirements for product development.
• Act as front-facing technical point of contact for power architecture discussions with customer teams.
• Partner with product engineering and manufacturing to deliver power interconnect solutions.
• Develop technical requirement documents and specification inputs for new product development.
