Job summary

Chenega MIOS is seeking an Electrical Engineer – Power Systems to support TEAMS NEXT Facilities Lifecycle Management for Foreign Military Sales at Redstone Arsenal, AL. You will work on an integrated team handling facility planning, design, acquisition, and cost estimating activities.

The role requires a BS in Engineering with 7+ years of experience, US citizenship, and the ability to obtain a Secret clearance. Travel up to 50% CONUS/OCONUS is expected.

Qualifications

• B.S. degree in Engineering from an ABET-accredited university with 7+ years of relevant experience.
• An M.E./M.S. in engineering may substitute for 7+ years of experience.
• B.S. in engineering with PE license may substitute for 7+ years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Work on an integrated team performing engineering and construction integration and operations functions including facility planning, design, real property and equipment acquisition, construction management, and cost estimating.
• Support facility engineering designs, construction project teams, and on-site equipment systems integration activities for building systems and facilities at multiple sites.
• Analyze engineering tasking requirements, establish mechanical/electrical scope and objectives, and develop Plan of Action and Milestones (POAM) documents.
• Perform engineering research and assist with developing supporting documents such as briefings, information papers, and reports for facilities and infrastructure.
• Support systems engineering integrated baseline reviews, project change management, and acquisition reviews.
• Coordinate with internal and external personnel including design and construction agents.
