Chenega MIOS invites you to join a team supporting Missile Defense Agency efforts under the TEAMS NEXT Facilities Lifecycle Management contract. The FMS-KSA Facilities Structural Engineer Intermediate will contribute to planning, design, and construction for critical facilities and infrastructure at Redstone Arsenal and other sites, with substantial travel and security clearances as required.

Qualifications

• B.S. degree in Engineering from an ABET-accredited university with 7+ years of relevant experience.
• An M.E. or M.S. degree in engineering may substitute for 7+ years of experience.
• A B.S. in engineering plus a PE license may substitute for 7+ years of experience.
• Must be a U.S. citizen.

Responsibilities

• Work on an integrated team performing engineering and construction integration and operations functions including facility planning, design, real property and equipment acquisition, construction management, and cost estimating.
• Support facility engineering designs, construction project teams, and on-site equipment systems integration activities for building systems and facilities at multiple sites.
• Analyze engineering tasking requirements, establish structural scope and objectives, and develop Plan of Action and Milestones (POAM) documents.
• Perform relevant engineering research; assist with developing supporting engineering documents such as briefings, information papers, and reports for facilities and infrastructure.
• Support systems engineering integrated baseline reviews, project change management reviews, and acquisition reviews.
• Coordinate with internal and external personnel including design and construction agents.
• Brief customers and finalize engineering documents and staffing through appropriate offices for approvals and decisions.
• Travel up to 50% of time, CONUS and OCONUS.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
