Job summary

Chenega MIOS seeks an Electrical Engineer – Power Systems to support TEAMS NEXT Facilities Lifecycle Management for Missile Defense Agency. You will work on integrated teams handling facility planning, design, and systems integration for multiple sites.

The role requires 7+ years in engineering, ABET-accredited degree, and the ability to travel up to 50% (CONUS/OCONUS). A Secret clearance or higher is preferred.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited B.S. in Engineering with 7+ years of relevant experience.
• M.E./M.S. degree in engineering may substitute for 7+ years of experience.
• B.S. in engineering and a PE license may substitute for 7+ years of experience.
• Must be US Citizen and able to obtain/maintain Secret Clearance.
• Background check with ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance and pass drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Work on an integrated team performing engineering and construction integration and operations functions including facility planning, design, real property and equipment acquisition, construction management, and cost estimating
• Support facility engineering designs, construction project teams, and on-site equipment systems integration activities for building systems and facilities at multiple sites
• Analyze engineering tasking requirements, establish mechanical/electrical scope and objectives, and develop POAM documents
• Perform relevant engineering research and assist with developing supporting engineering documents such as briefings, information papers, and reports
• Support systems engineering integrated baseline reviews, project change management, and acquisition reviews
• Coordinate with internal and external personnel including design and construction agents
• Travel up to 50% of the time, CONUS and OCONUS
