Job summary

Vertiv in Westerville, OH is seeking an NPDI Services Engineer - Power Systems to plan and execute deployment programs across complex customer environments, focusing on AC/DC power infrastructure, MV systems, and energy storage.

You will own execution readiness, collaborate with Engineering and Product Management, and drive scalable deployment strategies with strong field risk management and serviceability considerations.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with AC/DC power systems in critical infrastructure.
• Experience with MV distribution, protection schemes, and commissioning.
• Experience with energy storage or microgrid architectures.
• Experience with integrated power systems including UPS and hybrid solutions.
• 5–8 years of customer-facing technical or field execution experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead NPDI deployment programs for power systems to ensure on-time, high-quality delivery.
• Translate design intent into executable deployment strategies for field readiness.
• Own deployment readiness for power system solutions, validating procedures.
• Collaborate with Engineering on risk mitigation for AC/DC power deployments.
• Represent Services in design reviews and milestones for maintainability.
