Job summary

Burns & McDonnell, through 1898 & Co., seeks a Project Delivery Manager to lead consulting teams across TPPSA and GMDP. You will provide strategic direction, oversee project execution, manage staff development, and ensure client satisfaction while aligning with company goals and values.

You will mentor teams, drive best practices in scope, schedule, budget, and risk, and collaborate with directors on growth strategies within power systems planning and grid modernization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, finance, business, or other related field; 5+ years of related experience.
• Strong written and oral communication skills; ability to present complex information clearly.
• Proven leadership and project management capabilities; change management experience.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to influence and coordinate across diverse teams.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and operational leadership to TPPSA and GMDP teams, guiding project delivery and staff development.
• Oversee delivery of transmission planning, power systems analysis, distribution planning, and grid modernization projects.
• Ensure scope definition, scheduling, budgeting, risk management, and client communications are aligned with goals.
• Coordinate workload and resources across business lines; enforce QA/QC processes.
• Support business development through collaboration with PMs and proposals; lead organizational change efforts.
