Job summary

IBM is seeking Software Engineers, Computer Scientists, and Computer Engineers to help develop IBM Power Systems and the IBM i operating system. You’ll work on challenging systems software and gain hands-on experience at the intersection of hardware and software.

This internship offers exposure to OS, virtualization, security, cloud technologies, AI enablement, and collaboration with experienced engineers to deliver critical capabilities for thousands of businesses globally.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field.
• Experience with C/C++ through coursework or projects.
• Understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design fundamentals.
• Interest in operating systems, databases, and systems software.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop IBM Power Systems and IBM i operating system components.
• Work on systems software spanning OS, virtualization, security, and tools.
• Collaborate with engineers to design, build, and deliver capabilities.
