Job summary

IBM is seeking a Hardware Developer Intern in Poughkeepsie to contribute to hardware validation, test automation, and product engineering for enterprise systems. You will work with multidisciplinary teams to ensure quality, performance, and manufacturability across the product lifecycle.

Ideal candidates are pursuing a STEM degree with programming experience in Python, C/C++, or Java, and strong analytical and collaborative skills.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute hardware and system-level test and validation solutions.
• Design and optimize test methodologies across development and manufacturing.
• Support reliability, qualification, and burn-in activities.
• Analyze data to identify issues and drive improvements.
• Build software and automation for validation, analytics, and AI workflows.
• Collaborate with design, firmware, manufacturing, suppliers, and quality teams.
