You will review specifications, develop solutions, prepare BOMs, and assist from quotation through order execution, serving as a technical advisor for the Power System Solutions Division.

You will identify risks, prepare budgets, and provide reliable technical support to ensure timely proposals.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s Degree in electrical engineering from an accredited university.
• Fundamental understanding of power systems and power quality concepts.
• Ability to work under time pressure while maintaining quality.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to technical detail.
• Effective written and verbal communication for customer and internal discussions.
• Willingness to travel occasionally (<25%).

Aufgaben

• Review customer specifications, drawings, data sheets, and RFQ documents to determine technical requirements, risks, and needed clarifications.
• Develop preliminary equipment designs, layouts, ratings, and BOM estimates for quotation purposes.
• Prepare technical and commercial support for quotations of MV and HV capacitor banks, harmonic filters, reactors, STATCOMs, and related power system solutions.
• Support Sales with proposals, exceptions, scope clarifications, and technical responses.
• Perform basic electrical calculations for capacitor bank and harmonic filter applications.
• Coordinate with internal engineering teams on feasibility, layouts, insulation coordination, switching devices, and auxiliary equipment.
• Work with vendors and purchasing to obtain technical and cost information for major components.
• Write technical specifications for power equipment; evaluate bids from vendors.
