The compensation range for this full-time position applies to candidates located within the United States. Our salary ranges are determined by reviewing roles of similar responsibility and level. Within the salary range, individual pay is determined by several factors including performance, knowledge, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Schneider Electric Consulting Services (Consulting) is seeking a qualified Power System Engineer. The engineer is responsible for leading and executing power system engineering studies for clients nationwide.
You will learn and grow abilities in power system studies, including analyses such as short-circuit, coordination, arc flash, load flow, voltage drop, and harmonics. Additional growth areas include digital relay protection and control, equipment assessments and power quality assessments. You will have the opportunity to continuously expand your skills and increase your knowledge so that the solutions we offer are technically sound and meet national regulatory standards.
Engineers are responsible for working with project management to ensure that the work satisfies specifications and customer needs and is completed within the project timeline and budget. Most projects are office-based, but some include onsite data collection, which requires travel and adherence to company safety policies.
You will develop relationships with key customers and work to become the trusted advisor for them in order to facilitate an effective partnership and drive incremental business.
