Job summary

Spencer Ogden, in partnership with a global leader in Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), is expanding its Grid Integration team. You will apply PSCAD/PSSE/PowerFactory/ETAP expertise to model, analyze, and optimize large-scale energy storage projects.

Remote candidates will be considered. Ideal candidates have experience with ERCOT, PJM, CAISO, or similar markets and will collaborate with utilities, OEMs, ISOs/RTOs and engineering teams to shape grid modernization.

Qualifications

• Expert in PSCAD/PSSE/PowerFactory/ETAP for grid studies.
• Experience in grid integration studies and energy storage projects.
• Collaborate with utilities, OEMs and ISO/RTO stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Conduct grid integration studies for BESS projects.
• Validate inverters and plant controllers.
• Support renewable energy interconnection studies.
• Work on advanced grid applications including Grid Forming.
• Collaborate with utilities, OEMs, ISOs/RTOs and engineering teams.

Are you an expert in PSCAD, PSS®E, PowerFactory, ETAP, or utility-scale power system studies?

I'm partnering with a global leader in Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) that is actively expanding its Grid Integration team and looking for engineers who want to work on some of the most advanced energy storage projects in the industry.

Remote candidates will also be considered!

In this role, you'll work on:

• Grid integration studies
• Inverter and Plant Controller validation
• Renewable energy interconnection
• Advanced grid applications including Grid Forming technologies
• Collaboration with utilities, OEMs, ISOs/RTOs, and engineering teams

We're especially interested in candidates with experience in:

• MATLAB/Simulink
• BESS, Solar, or Wind Integration
• ERCOT, PJM, CAISO, MISO, or SPP
