Job summary
Spencer Ogden, in partnership with a global leader in Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), is expanding its Grid Integration team. You will apply PSCAD/PSSE/PowerFactory/ETAP expertise to model, analyze, and optimize large-scale energy storage projects.
Remote candidates will be considered. Ideal candidates have experience with ERCOT, PJM, CAISO, or similar markets and will collaborate with utilities, OEMs, ISOs/RTOs and engineering teams to shape grid modernization.
Qualifications
- Expert in PSCAD/PSSE/PowerFactory/ETAP for grid studies.
- Experience in grid integration studies and energy storage projects.
- Collaborate with utilities, OEMs and ISO/RTO stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Conduct grid integration studies for BESS projects.
- Validate inverters and plant controllers.
- Support renewable energy interconnection studies.
- Work on advanced grid applications including Grid Forming.
- Collaborate with utilities, OEMs, ISOs/RTOs and engineering teams.
