HSBC Holdings plc, through HSBC Securities (USA) Inc., Houston, TX, seeks an Investment Banking Vice President focused on the power, utilities and renewables sector. You will lead client interactions, present sector updates, and oversee complex M&A and financing transactions, coordinating with internal teams and external advisors.

You will review models, guide junior staff, and provide strategic insights into market fundamentals and regulatory shifts to support senior bankers in client coverage

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree required in finance, accounting, business, management or related field.
• 5 years progressive investment banking experience required.
• 3 years of experience in Excel-based financial modeling, marketing memoranda, and sector coverage in power, utilities, and renewables.

Responsabilidades

• Serve as primary contact for power, utilities and renewables sector clients and support ongoing transactions.
• Lead client meetings with tailored sector updates and transaction materials.
• Oversee transaction execution and high-level client communications with internal teams and senior advisors.
• Review and approve financial models and sector-specific valuation analyses prepared by junior team members.
• Manage deal team workflow and ensure timely, high-quality deliverables.
• Analyze power market fundamentals and regulatory changes to provide actionable client insights.
