Job summary

Clearwater Paper is seeking utility personnel to support the Powerhouse, Water/Wastewater Treatment, Recovery, and four Power Lines of Progression. Responsibilities include equipment rounds, housekeeping, water testing, and boiler maintenance, with cross-training to cover vacancies.

Required are a High School Diploma or GED and 2+ years in manufacturing, plus the ability to work a 12-hour rotating shift and lift up to 50 lbs. Safety compliance and basic computer skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of continuous work in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Willingness to learn process systems to advance.
• Learn required technical skills to operate equipment.
• Understand and comply with safety procedures and PPE.
• Physically capable of manual labor (12-hour shift).
• Lift up to 50 lbs. and work in varying conditions.
• Rotating 12-hour shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assist in all areas of the designated department (Power, Recovery, Waste Water).
• Fill in as needed due to time off vacancies.
• Assist other Operators as needed throughout the department.
• Conduct routine inspections of equipment and perform minor maintenance.
• Attend and apply training provided by the Company.
• Maintain a clean working environment and adhere to safety policies.
• Work with vendors, peers, and department managers.
• Water testing and providing timely test results.
