Job summary

Siemens is launching the Power Protection & Automation Field Technician Development Program (PPA FTDP) in the United States. This full-time, one-year program develops recent associate degree graduates for testing and commissioning across field service rotations.

You will work with SIPROTEC relays, DIGSI 5, Omicron, SICAM A8000, and IEC 61850, alongside seasoned Siemens technicians. The program emphasizes safety, mentorship, and hands-on experience.

Qualifications

Associate degree in Electrical Engineering Technology, Power Systems Technology, Electronics, or a related field.
Willingness to travel up to 40 weeks per year across the United States.
Legal authorization to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis.

Responsibilities

Support testing and commissioning of power protection and automation systems during field service rotations.
Read electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical docs to support projects.
Collaborate with Siemens technicians and engineers to ensure safe, effective project execution.
