Job summary

Emerson is seeking a Project Manager to lead Power project planning in Marshalltown, IA, overseeing projects from inception to implementation and coordinating cross-functional teams to drive innovation and efficiency.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s in Data Analytics, Business, or Engineering and proven PM experience, with strong communication and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Embraces continuous improvement and safety culture.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience with problem-solving methodologies, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Experience using ERP or manufacturing business systems.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive plantwide project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation, to ensure successful project execution.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams, including stakeholders from various departments, to drive collaboration and alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
• Evaluate project feasibility, risks, and potential impact, and make recommendations to senior management for project approval.
• Monitor project progress, identify potential roadblocks or issues, and implement corrective actions as needed to ensure project success.
• Communicate project updates, milestones, and outcomes to stakeholders, including senior leadership, on a regular basis.
• Collaborate with internal and external partners, including vendors, consultants, and industry experts, to leverage resources and expertise for project success.
• Measure and evaluate the effectiveness of innovation projects, using key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics, and provide insights for continuous improvement.
• Work together with the Operations team to devise and execute operational strategies, policies, and procedures aimed at enhancing business processes and attaining organizational goals.
