Job summary

Alliant Energy in Marshalltown, IA seeks a Senior Project Manager to lead large, cross-functional maintenance projects at Emery and Marshalltown Generation Facilities. You’ll own end-to-end outage planning, coordinate stakeholders, manage risk, and ensure safety and reliability.

The role emphasizes PMI-based methodologies, strong communication, and the ability to drive projects on schedule and on budget. A Bachelor’s degree is required, PMP preferred, with 5+ years of project management

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• 5 years of experience in project management managing medium to large sized, complex projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end planning of large maintenance projects.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to align scope, schedule and cost.
• Develop and execute communication plans for stakeholders.
• Ensure safety, budget, and quality standards are met.
• Mentor teams and support organizational change management initiatives.
