Job summary

Kiewit is seeking a Scheduling Intern to support the Power division across multiple markets from its Lenexa, Kansas office. The role focuses on scheduling from estimate through completion, analyzing progress, and helping drive on‑time project delivery.

The intern will work with cross‑functional teams to develop schedules, monitor critical milestones, and contribute to risk and performance reporting as part of the Project Controls group.

Responsibilities

• Develop resource loaded schedules including activities, milestones, and long lead items.
• Create and maintain schedule logic, durations, and resource availability.
• Provide scheduling analysis for delays and impacts.
• Assist in internal controls, reporting project status and data integrity.
• Apply engineering/procurement terminology to develop critic path logic networks.
• Offer guidance for resolving complex project control problems.
• Collaborate with project teams to prepare accurate reports under deadlines.
• Attend meetings and present statistical reports as needed.
