Job summary
Dev Technology is seeking a Software Test Engineer to support a government modernization initiative focusing on Microsoft Power Platform and Azure Government. The role involves hands-on testing of Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, APIs, and related cloud services within an Agile framework.
The successful candidate will validate enterprise applications, execute manual and automated tests, support UAT, and ensure quality across the development lifecycle while collaborating with analysts,
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of software testing or QA experience.
- Experience with Agile software development environments.
- Experience using defect and test management tools such as Azure DevOps, Jira, TestRail, or similar products.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Develop, execute, and maintain test plans, test cases, test scripts, and test data.
- Perform functional, integration, regression, system, and user acceptance testing.
- Validate real-world business workflows, business rules, and system functionality against documented requirements and user stories using technologies such as Power Apps, Power Automate, and Dataverse.
- Support testing of interpreter scheduling, assignment, reassignment, reporting, invoicing, and workflow automation capabilities.
- Modify test plans and test cases as needed to resolve defects or substandard results.
- Conduct re-testing as needed to resolve defects or substandard results.
