Job summary

TALENT Software Services is seeking a skilled Power Platform Engineer to support, modernize, and extend enterprise Power Platform solutions. You will work on Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Dataverse, SharePoint Online, and related Microsoft technologies while enabling deployment processes, governance, integrations, and reporting improvements.

The role involves building new apps and flows, optimizing data models, and supporting migrations to cloud platforms.

Qualifications

Job Title: Power Platform Engineer

Duration: 6 months

Certifications: Microsoft certifications such as PL-400, PL-600, AZ-204, or related certifications.

We are looking for a skilled Power Platform Engineer to support, maintain, enhance, and modernize enterprise Power Platform solutions. This role will focus on Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Dataverse, SharePoint Online, and related Microsoft technologies while supporting deployment processes, governance, integrations, reporting, and future automation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and enhance existing Power Apps applications.
• Maintain and enhance Power Automate flows and workflow automation solutions.
• Maintain and enhance Power BI reports, dashboards, semantic models, and analytics solutions.
• Build new Power Apps, Power Automate flows, and Power BI reports based on business requirements.
• Develop and support integrations with Dynamics 365, SharePoint Online, SQL Server, Azure services, REST APIs, and third-party systems.
• Establish proper deployment, ALM, CI/CD, and release management processes across environments.
• Support environment strategy for Dev, Test, Stage, and Production environments.
• Review existing solutions and refactor app logic, workflows, reports, and integrations where needed.
• Analyze data requirements and improve database schema design, data models, and reporting structures.
• Work with SQL databases, tables, views, stored procedures, SSIS, and enterprise reporting solutions.
• Troubleshoot issues related to apps, flows, reports, data refreshes, integrations, and platform performance.
• Improve performance, scalability, reliability, and maintainability of existing solutions.
• Support governance, security, DLP policies, environment administration, and access control processes.
• Develop reusable components, templates, connectors, automation patterns, and reporting accelerators.
• Create technical documentation, architecture diagrams, deployment guides, and support procedures.
• Partner with business and technical teams to gather requirements and deliver scalable solutions.
• Support migration and modernization initiatives from legacy/manual processes to cloud-based Power Platform solutions.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, stand-ups, and retrospectives.

Required Skills:

• Strong experience with Microsoft Power Platform.
• Hands-on experience building and enhancing Power Apps.
• Hands-on experience building and maintaining Power Automate flows.
• Strong Power BI report development experience including DAX and Power Query.
• Strong understanding of data modeling and database design.
• Experience with SQL, database schema changes, views, stored procedures, and reporting solutions.
• Experience integrating Power Platform solutions with APIs, Dynamics 365, SharePoint, and Azure services.
• Experience with deployment processes, CI/CD pipelines, and environment management.
• Ability to refactor and optimize existing applications, workflows, reports, and database logic.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication skills and ability to work with business stakeholders and technical teams.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Dataverse.
• Experience with Azure DevOps, GitHub, or CI/CD processes.
• Experience with Power Platform ALM and governance frameworks.
• Experience with REST APIs, custom connectors, and integrations.
• Experience with Power Platform security, compliance, and access control.
• Experience with Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Azure Data Factory, or Microsoft Fabric.
• Experience with Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations.
• Experience creating reusable components, templates, automation frameworks, or governance accelerators.
• Microsoft certifications such as PL-400, PL-600, AZ-204, or related certifications.
• Experience mentoring developers and supporting enterprise-scale Power Platform initiatives.
