Job summary

Dev Technology Group in Falls Church, VA is seeking a Software Test Engineer to support a government modernization initiative, focusing on Microsoft Power Platform and Azure Government. You will test Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, and related cloud services in an Agile environment.

The role requires 3+ years of QA experience, a Bachelor's degree, and the ability to work with developers, business stakeholders, and government customers while ensuring security, usability, and accessibility

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of software testing or quality assurance experience supporting enterprise applications.
• Experience developing and executing functional, integration, regression, system, and UAT tests.
• Experience with Agile software development environments.
• Experience using defect and test management tools such as Azure DevOps, Jira, TestRail, or similar products.

Responsibilities

• Develop, execute, and maintain test plans, test cases, test scripts, and test data.
• Perform functional, integration, regression, system, and user acceptance testing.
• Validate real-world business workflows and rules using Power Apps, Power Automate, and Dataverse.
• Support testing of scheduling, reporting, invoicing, and workflow automation capabilities.
• Modify test plans and test cases to resolve defects or substandard results.
• Execute end-to-end testing across multiple integrated systems and interfaces.
• Document, track, and verify defects through resolution.
