Job summary

Dev Technology Group seeks a Software Test Engineer to support a DOJ government modernization project. The tester will perform hands-on testing of enterprise apps built with Microsoft Power Platform and Azure Government, validating Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, APIs, and integrations throughout the Agile lifecycle.

The role collaborates with BAs, POs, developers, and government stakeholders to ensure functionality meets security, usability, and operational requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in IT, CS, engineering, business or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of software testing or QA experience on enterprise apps.
• Experience with functional, integration, regression, and UAT testing.
• Experience in Agile environments and defect/test management tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop, execute, and maintain test plans, cases, scripts and data.
• Perform functional, integration, regression, system and UAT testing.
• Validate workflows and rules using Power Platform, Dataverse, APIs.
• Support interpreter scheduling, reporting, invoicing and automation testing.
• Document, track and verify defects through resolution.
• Collaborate with BA, PO and dev teams; ensure acceptance criteria.
