Job summary

NCMS – National Center for Manufacturing Sciences in Ann Arbor, Michigan, is seeking a Business Applications Developer for a hybrid role requiring three days in the office. You will build and maintain business applications using the Microsoft Power Platform and Microsoft 365, partnering with the Process Automation Team to automate and optimize workflows.

You will own Power Platform solutions, integrate with existing systems, and drive governance and best practices.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship and eligibility for government security clearance.
• Hybrid schedule: three days in office in Ann Arbor, two days remote.
• Bachelor’s degree in CS / IT / SE or related field.
• 3–5 years of Power Platform development experience.
• Experience with Power Apps and Power Automate.
• Experience with Microsoft 365 and cloud technologies.
• Understanding of application integrations, APIs, data flows.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop, configure, test, deploy, and maintain Power Platform solutions.
• Maintain and enhance solutions across the organization.
• Work with PAT and stakeholders to translate needs into technical solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in Power Platform apps and automations.
• Document solutions, configurations, and support procedures.
