Job summary

Avanza LLC is seeking a talented Software Developer with a strong focus on Microsoft technologies to design, develop, test, and deploy software applications using the Microsoft Power Platform, Microsoft 365, and SharePoint.

You will collaborate with stakeholders, implement Power Apps and Power Automate solutions, and ensure code quality through testing and best practices. The role is hybrid and based near Arlington, VA, with opportunities to work on cutting-edge Microsoft technologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 1-3 years of software development experience with a focus on Microsoft technologies.
• Proficiency in Power Apps, Power BI and other Power Platform tools.
• Experience with Dataverse, SharePoint Lists and relational databases (SQL Server, MySQL).
• Familiarity with cloud concepts and Azure is a plus.
• Experience with Git and Azure DevOps.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and design scalable software solutions.
• Design and implement solutions using Power Apps (canvas and model-driven) and Power Automate.
• Develop, test, debug, and maintain applications using Microsoft development tools (Power Apps, Power BI, Power Automate, Dataverse).
• Apply Agile methodologies to deliver projects on time and within budget.
• Write clean, well-documented code and adhere to best practices.
• Conduct unit testing and participate in integration testing.
• Integrate with existing systems and APIs and deploy to production.
