Position Summary and Job Responsibilities

Position Summary

BGI is seeking a Microsoft 365 Power Platform Developer to join our team. The successful

candidate must have superior technical and communication skills and fully support

stakeholders to automate processes, enhance reporting, and deliver impactful applications that

improve business operations. The Power Platform Developer is responsible for designing,

developing, and implementing business solutions using the Microsoft Power Platform—

including Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Dataverse.

Job Responsibilities

This position will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining business

applications using Power Apps (Canvas, Model-Driven, etc.) and building workflows with

Power Automate to automate and streamline business processes. The individual will create

interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI, helping stakeholders make data-driven

decisions. The role also involves integrating Power Platform solutions with Microsoft 365

services (SharePoint, Teams, Outlook), external systems, APIs, Copilot, OpenAI-based

models, or other LLMs. The successful candidate will work with data stored in Microsoft

Dataverse and other sources, ensuring accurate modeling and efficient data management. The

individual will collaborate with cybersecurity and compliance teams to ensure AI usage aligns

with DFARS, NIST 800-171, and organizational security requirements (especially for GCC

High environments).

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Proficiency with Microsoft Power Platform: Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI.
• Strong understanding of Microsoft Dataverse and connectors.
• Experience integrating with Microsoft 365 services (e.g., SharePoint, Outlook,Teams).
• Experience with implementation and administration of Microsoft 365Commercial/GCC/GCC-H
• Familiarity with REST APIs, custom connectors, and common integration patterns.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Excellent communications skills (written & oral) with the ability to conducttechnical briefings and collaborate at all levels of the company.

Desired Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field—or equivalent work experience
• 5+ years of experience working with the Microsoft Power Platform
• Microsoft Certifications such as PL-400 (Power Platform Developer).
• Experience with Azure Logic Apps, Azure Functions, or PowerShell.
• Knowledge of governance and security best practices in Microsoft GCCH environments.
