Job summary

Plante Moran, PLLC is seeking a Power Platform developer to design and implement enterprise Power Platform solutions across SharePoint and Dataverse. You will collaborate with internal clients to translate requirements into scalable Power Apps, Automate flows, and data models.

The role requires hands-on experience with Canvas and Model-Driven Apps, strong SQL/SharePoint skills, and familiarity with connectors, APIs, and DevOps workflows. Travel for local and national projects may be required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in computer science or related field preferred (substantially equivalent certifications considered).
  • 3+ years hands-on experience with modern web applications, enterprise platforms, and integrations.
  • 1+ years as a Power Platform developer – Canvas Apps, Model-Driven Apps and Power Automate.
  • Experience with SQL and SharePoint.
  • Strong understanding of standard, premium and custom connectors (OpenAPI/Swagger, OAuth 2.0, policies).
  • Strong coding, debugging and troubleshooting with relational databases and data models.
  • Deep Dataverse data modeling and judgment on when to use Dataverse vs. SharePoint.
  • Experience with Azure DevOps and GitHub (desired).
  • Experience creating technical documentation (architecture diagrams, designs, operational docs) (desired).
  • Pro‑code extensibility: React/TypeScript, Code Apps, PC Framework, plugins/JS; C#, REST, JSON.
  • PL‑400 Power Platform Developer Associate certification strongly preferred.
  • Experience with VS Code, Power Platform CLI, and AI-assisted development workflows (a plus).
  • Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
  • Bilingual candidates (Japanese/English or Chinese/English) may be considered for sponsorship exceptions.

  • Strong understanding of standard, premium and custom connectors, including building and maintaining custom connectors (OpenAPI/Swagger, OAuth 2.0, and policies).
  • Strong coding, debugging and troubleshooting skills with a solid understanding of relational databases and data models.
  • Deep Microsoft Dataverse data modeling (tables, relationships, security roles, business rules, calculated/roll‑up columns) and judgment on when to use Dataverse vs. SharePoint.
  • Experience with Azure DevOps and GitHub (desired).
  • Experience creating technical documentation (solution architecture diagrams, designs, operational support documentation) (desired).
  • Pro‑code extensibility a plus: Power Apps Code Apps (React/TypeScript, code‑first), Power Apps Component Framework, plugins/JavaScript; C#, REST, JSON.
  • PL‑400 Power Platform Developer Associate certification strongly preferred.
  • Experience with VS Code, Power Platform CLI, and AI‑assisted development workflows (a plus).
