Job summary

Plante Moran is seeking a Power Platform Developer to architect and implement solutions across SharePoint and Dataverse. You will collaborate with clients and internal teams, troubleshoot complex issues, and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.

Strong certification in Power Platform and experience with Canvas/Model‑Driven Apps are highly valued. The role requires extensive knowledge of connectors, data modeling, and modern web app integrations, with travel as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in computer science or related field preferred. We will consider substantially equivalent certifications to satisfy some or all of the educational requirements.
  • 3 or more years of hands‑on experience with modern web application, enterprise application development platforms, and integrations is required.
  • 1 or more years of experience as a Power Platform developer including Canvas Apps, Model‑Driven Apps, and Power Automate is required.
  • Experience with SQL and SharePoint is required.
  • Strong understanding of standard, premium, and custom connectors, including building and maintaining custom connectors (OpenAPI/Swagger, OAuth 2.0, and policies), is required.
  • Strong coding, debugging, and troubleshooting skills with a solid understanding of relational databases and data models.
  • Deep Microsoft Dataverse data modeling (tables, relationships, security roles, business rules, and calculated/roll‑up columns), with sound judgment on when to use Dataverse vs. SharePoint, is required.
  • Experience with Azure DevOps and GitHub is desired.
  • Experience creating technical documentation, including solution architecture diagrams, designs, and operational support documentation is desired.
  • Pro‑code extensibility is a plus: Power Apps Code Apps (React/TypeScript, code‑first), Power Apps Component Framework (PCF) components, and plugins/JavaScript; C#, REST, and JSON.
  • PL‑400 (Power Platform Developer Associate) certification strongly preferred.
  • Experience with VS Code, the Power Platform CLI, and AI‑assisted development workflows is a plus.
  • This position may require some local and national travel.

Your role.

This is an exempt position, so you may have to work hours that exceed the standard 40‑hour work week.

The compensation range reflects the base salary we reasonably expect to pay for this position across our offices in the following regions: CO, IL, OH, and MA. Please review the position description for the applicable geographic location. Generally, experienced hires are not hired at or near the maximum salary range, as compensation decisions take into account a wide variety of factors, including but not limited to: responsibilities, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and geography.
