Plant N Power Services in Ozark, AR is seeking a skilled QA/QC Technician to develop and manage quality control systems in compliance with ASME codes and NBIC standards. You will work with operations, engineering, and production to resolve quality issues and drive continuous improvement.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of QA/QC experience in boiler repairs or manufacturing, familiarity with AI/NB requirements, and a CWI or NDE Level II/III certification preferred.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of QA/QC experience in boiler repairs and/or manufacturing.
  • Experience working with Authorized Inspectors (AI) and NBIC requirements.
  • CWI and/or NDE Level II/III certifications preferred.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes including welding, machining, and fabrication.
  • Pass Drug Screening.
  • Reliable Transportation.
  • Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
  • Opportunities for professional development and certification.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate NDE and develop weld maps for package turnover.
  • Audit/spot check welders throughout the project.
  • VT completed welds and establish a weld log.
  • Follow ITP's and ensure code requirements are being followed.
  • Ensure proper documentation and traceability of materials, welding consumables, and manufacturing processes.
  • Work closely with Operations, Engineering, Production, and Project Management to resolve quality issues and drive continuous improvement.
  • Maintain current knowledge of applicable codes and standards (ASME, NBIC, AWS, API).
  • Support customer and regulatory audits and inspections.
  • Report back to the QA/QC Manager.

Our products serve a variety of industries including power generation, petrochemical, wood products and industrial processing. As we continue to grow, we are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented QA/QC Technician.

Position Summary:

The QA/QC Technician will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing the quality control systems and procedures to ensure compliance with ASME Code requirements, customer specifications, and internal standards. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of ASME Sections I, IV, and VIII, as well as NBIC, AWS, and other applicable codes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • -Coordinate NDE and develop weld maps for package turnover.
