Job summary

WIN Waste Innovations is seeking a Utility Operator to oversee operation and inspection of boiler systems and related equipment under supervision. The role includes reading meters, reporting anomalies, and maintaining a clean, safe work environment in a plant setting.

You will operate auxiliary equipment, monitor processes, and may handle mobile equipment as needed, including overtime during planned or unplanned maintenance.

Qualifications

• 3+ months related experience or training.
• Mechanical skills for replacing shear pins and valve repacking.
• Ability to operate power plant auxiliary equipment.
• Ability to work overtime and rotating shifts.

Responsibilities

• Safe and efficient operation of assigned equipment.
• Monitor boiler plant auxiliary equipment.
• Read data from meters and report malfunctions or trends.
• Operate mobile equipment such as Bobcat and forklift.
• Work extensive overtime during maintenance.
