Job summary

NAES Corporation is seeking a Shift Supervisor for the Roseton Power Plant in Newburgh, NY. You will lead safe and efficient plant operations, coordinating maintenance and real-time decisions on a 12-hour rotating schedule.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required; advanced training in power generation preferred.
Extensive power plant operations experience including startup/shutdown and abnormal condition handling.
Demonstrated leadership directing operating personnel and coordinating shift activities.
Strong technical knowledge of power generation equipment, steam-cycle systems, and control systems.
Control room experience with real-time monitoring, alarm response, and decision-making.

Responsibilities

Direct and supervise plant operations on assigned shifts per approved procedures.
Monitor plant conditions using control system data, logs, and observations; direct corrective actions.
Lead shift response to equipment failures and emergencies to protect personnel and plant reliability.
Coordinate maintenance, inspections, outages, and lockout/tagout activities.
Maintain accurate supervisor logs and ensure effective shift turnover and communications.
Coach and develop operating personnel through training, feedback, and mentoring.
