Job summary

Constellation Energy is seeking an experienced technician to support plant operations in the Baltimore area. You will perform advanced technical problem solving, coordinate maintenance programs with station engineering, and apply industry codes and calibration/testing knowledge.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in engineering technology, electronics, or related field or equivalent.
• High school diploma/GED with 18 months of trade/technical training in Power Plant Technology or related field.
• Travel up to 80%.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Maintain safe work practices in a power plant environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform predictive maintenance and calibration testing on major plant apparatus, writing reports and maintaining logs.
• Perform maintenance and calibration in support of plant operations.
• Provide technical support to plant operations, maintenance staff and engineering.
• Develop, manage and implement engineering activities and programs.
• Ensure documentation and configuration management for plans and specifications.
• Support outage activities as needed.
