Job summary

Apex Systems seeks an experienced Central Maintenance Planner to support overhaul planning for a Combined Cycle Power Generation fleet in Juno Beach, FL. This on-site role requires strong organizational skills, process discipline, and solid relationships with site teams.

Responsibilities include developing mechanical, electrical, or I&C work order packages, conducting site walk-downs, supporting procurement, writing detailed procedures, and building accurate cost and schedule estimates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent power plant experience.
• Strong experience in power plant maintenance planning, especially for combined cycle facilities or major overhaul projects.
• Proficiency in procedure writing and IBM Maximo usage.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed mechanical, electrical, or instrument and control maintenance work packages for major overhaul projects.
• Conduct comprehensive jobsite walk-downs and validate project scope.
• Support strategic procurement of materials and specialized services.
• Establish accurate cost and schedule estimates for individual work orders.
• Interface with site personnel, fleet engineering, and central maintenance to align objectives.
