Job summary

Penn Medicine is seeking a Facilities Technician to operate, troubleshoot, and maintain mechanical equipment including air handlers, boilers, chillers, and medical gas systems. You will provide utilities and emergency maintenance while upholding safety and code compliance.

Qualifications

• Min. 3–5 years' experience in a power plant setting handling boilers, chillers, pumps.
• General maintenance tasks i.e. electrical, plumbing, carpentry.
• Knowledge of state and local codes and ordinances.
• Knowledge of computers.

Responsibilities

• Monitors the Facilities HVAC systems and performs minor repairs.
• Performs daily work requests and monthly preventive maintenance on various equipment.
• Maintains boiler plant shift logbook and records time and materials on each work order.
• Works in conjunction with Associates in the Department to complete tasks.
• Removes snow and ice as needed.
