Job summary

Penn Medicine’s Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania seeks a Full-Time Multi-Skilled Plant Operator to maintain, install, and repair HVAC systems and related equipment in a healthcare facility.

The role requires licensure: Philadelphia Engineer’s Class A and a CFC license; minimum 4 years HVAC experience; with boilers experience preferred and healthcare facility exposure preferred.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or GED (Required).
• Minimum of two years specialized training for HVAC (Required).
• Minimum of four years full-time HVAC experience with a bona fide HVAC contractor or employer (Required).
• Experience with Boilers (Preferred).
• Experience in Healthcare facilities is (Preferred).

Responsibilities

• Maintenance, installation and repair of commercial/industrial HVAC systems and related equipment.
• Testing and preventive maintenance on HVAC & Boiler equipment.
• When needed, work with 3-phase Electric and troubleshoot electrical control circuits.
• Overtime on nights, weekends and holidays as required.
