Job summary

OGE Energy Corp. in Oklahoma seeks operators at two skill levels for power generation facilities. You will monitor and operate auxiliary equipment, support control room activities, and ensure safety compliance.

Applicants will be considered for the higher level they qualify for; responsibilities include monitoring boilers, loading units, and maintaining logs while collaborating with craft and plant personnel.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or technical training required.
• Experience in power generation or process-controlled environments preferred.
• Lock out tag out (LOTO) familiarity and safety training required.
• Ability to read drawings/prints and operate control room equipment.

Responsibilities

• Control and maintain auxiliary equipment supplying power plant services.
• Monitor and operate controls in the centralized control room as needed.
• Identify abnormal equipment operations and initiate corrective actions.
• Maintain logs and communicate plant conditions to team.
• Utilize SAP/PM for work history and clearance documentation.
