Job summary

FieldCore is seeking a Power Plant Operator I for Marcus Hook, PA. You will maintain and operate diverse power generation equipment outside the control room, ensuring safety, reliability, and compliance with procedures.

Responsibilities include monitoring equipment, adjusting controls to regulate power, logging data, and coordinating with facility managers. The role requires a high school diploma and at least three years of related experience; English proficiency is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum three (3) years of experience, including one-year equivalent to a Power Plant Operator or a combination of equivalent education and experience that would provide the required knowledge and abilities of a power plant operator is preferred.
• English proficiency required

Responsibilities

• Install, operate, and maintain power plant equipment.
• Monitor power generation equipment and indicators to detect evidence of operating problems.
• Adjust controls to generate specified electrical power or to regulate the flow of power between generation equipment and the load.
• Inspect/enter data on equipment records or logbook entries or communicate with other plant personnel to assess equipment-operating status.
• Travel may be required
