Job summary

FieldCore in Marcus Hook, PA, is seeking a Power Plant Operator I to maintain and operate a wide range of power generation equipment outside the control room, ensuring a safe and clean work environment and preventing injuries or equipment damage.

You will install, monitor, adjust, start and stop generators and related equipment, inspect records, and coordinate with facility managers to regulate voltages and loads while following safety procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum three years of experience as a power plant operator or equivalent education and experience preferred.
• English proficiency required.

Responsibilities

• Install, operate, and maintain power plant and mobile generation equipment.
• Monitor indicators to detect operating problems and adjust controls to generate power.
• Start/stop generators and auxiliary equipment as needed.
• Inspect equipment records and coordinate with plant personnel on status.
• Maintain safety and cleanliness to meet health and safety standards.
