NAES Corporation is hiring an Operating Technician for Chalk Point Generating Station in Aquasco, Maryland. The role supports start-up, shutdown, and routine operation of power plant systems with emphasis on keeping turbines, auxiliaries, and controls running safely and efficiently.

The position requires logging data, following safety rules, and using CMMS/SAP for work orders. It offers a 12-hour rotating shift schedule and a competitive hourly pay range.

Formación

• Associate degree in Plant Technology or related field preferred; equivalent technical training may be considered.
• Previous power plant operations or similar industrial experience preferred.
• Knowledge of turbine operations, electrical systems, safety, compliance, and parameter monitoring desirable.
• Experience with CMMS and work order systems required.

Responsabilidades

• Support start-up, shutdown, and routine operation of plant systems.
• Operate auxiliary equipment (air compressors, demineralized water, lube oil cooling, hydraulics).
• Perform inspections, minor repairs, and document work in CMMS/SAP.
• Read meters/gauges and log critical data for equipment condition.
• Follow supervisor directives to prepare equipment for service and maintain logs.
