Job summary

EthosEnergy is seeking a Maintenance/Operations professional for South Field Energy in Wellsville, OH. The role supports safe, reliable operation of a 1180MW, 2x1x1 combined cycle facility, including mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation systems.

You will perform troubleshooting, process improvements, and equipment maintenance, with a focus on water chemistry and CMMS use, in a 12-hour rotating shift environment.

Qualifications

• Demonstrates knowledge of all facets of power plant operations.
• Demonstrates the ability to make competent decisions in emergency situations.
• Capable of writing operating procedures and reports.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel/Word).
• Able to read mechanical drawings, one-lines, P&ID's and manuals.
• Able to troubleshoot and repair mechanical equipment promptly.
• Capable of repairing, replacing and inspecting plant equipment and parts.

Responsibilities

• Perform piping and conduit installation for system upgrades.
• Operate demineralizers, compressors, and turbine components.
• Inspect watches on each system within the plant.
• Maintain equipment by tightening fittings and replacing parts.
• Clean, oil, and lubricate components as required.
• Read meters and gauges to verify operating conditions.
• Assist with capital projects and major programs.
• Coordinate purchasing for timely repair of equipment.
• Operate and maintain CC power generating facility equipment.
• Open/close circuit breakers for proper operation.
• Assist with root cause analyses and training programs.
