Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Graduate of a trade school or apprentice program; or equivalent with relevant licenses.
• Minimum of three years experience operating a power/industrial plant with high pressure boilers or refrigeration machines.
• Hospital experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate, inspect and repair boilers, refrigeration equipment, generators, HVAC, and related building systems.
• Ensure proper operation and maintenance of all plant equipment.
• Keep plant areas clean and orderly; perform preventive maintenance and repairs as needed.
• Monitor and requisition materials for common supplies; coordinate with other trades to improve efficiency.
• Ensure safe, compliant operation to support patient care environment.
