Job summary

The role requires reading drawings, performing lubrication and alignment, and working with hand and power tools. Candidates must have high school or better education and are expected to qualify as Plant Operator within 12 months.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Basic understanding of plant safety protocols and LOTO.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals.
• Willingness to qualify as Plant Operator within 12 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Write technical reports as required or directed.
• Operate CMMS (HSI) to plan work, request spares, and track tasks.
• Troubleshoot equipment and recommend improvements to Management.
• Assist during shutdown events and coordinate workforce activities.
• Review safety programs such as LOTO, hot work, and confined space entry.
• Maintain and repair power plant equipment including pumps, shafts, belts, and motors.
• Perform lubrication, alignments, and bearing maintenance.
• Work with hand and power tools, welding, and cutting equipment.
