Job summary

Qualifications

Must be currently enrolled and pursuing a degree in a technical field.
Minimum 2.50 GPA.

Responsibilities

Perform maintenance activities to repair, inspect, install, rebuild, and troubleshoot power plant equipment.
Assist in startup and shutdown of plant equipment including monitoring and responding to events.
Assist in operating controls and devices for proper plant operation.
Learn to use hand tools, power tools, hoist, drill presses, grinders, and other equipment pertaining to the work.
Assist employees in carrying out work assignments.
Prepare and take the Edison Electrical Institute (EEI) POSS/MASS test measuring job aptitude, knowledge retention and problem solving.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.
