Job summary

Dominion Energy Mt. Storm Power Station is seeking an Instrument Technician Intern to gain hands-on experience with instrumentation used to monitor and control plant equipment. You will assist with inspection, testing, calibration, and troubleshooting under supervision, and support maintenance activities.

This paid internship offers exposure to power generation equipment, data analysis, and a collaborative team environment while building technical and professional skills for a career in energy.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in an accredited 2‑ or 4‑year program pursuing an Technology degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering Technology, Electromechanical Technology, Electronics Technology, Instrumentation Technology, or related field.
• Must have a 2.5 cumulative GPA or higher.
• Anticipated graduation date Spring 2028 or later.

Responsibilities

• Assist instrumentation inspection, testing, calibration, and troubleshooting under supervision.
• Support preventative maintenance activities and data collection.
• Contribute to projects related to instrumentation and control systems and safety.
