Job summary

Dominion Energy Brunswick Power Station seeks a motivated Instrument Technician Intern to gain hands-on experience supporting power station operations and maintenance. You will assist with inspection, testing, calibration, and troubleshooting of instrumentation used to monitor and control plant equipment.

The internship includes data collection/analysis, equipment inspections, and project support related to instrumentation and control systems, all within a safe, team-oriented environment.

Qualifications

Enrolled in a 2- or 4-year program pursuing a Bachelor’s or Associate’s Technology degree in specified engineering/tech fields.
Must have a 2.5 GPA or higher.
Anticipated graduation Spring 2028 or later.

Responsibilities

Assist with inspection, testing, calibration, and troubleshooting of instrumentation.
Support preventative maintenance activities.
Collect and analyze data related to instrumentation and control systems.
Assist with projects related to instrumentation and control systems.
