Job summary

Alpha Generation is seeking an Instrumentation, Controls and Electrical (IC&E) Technician at the Brandywine Power Facility in MD. The role focuses on maintaining, troubleshooting, and calibrating instrumentation, control systems, and electrical equipment, with emphasis on safety and self-sufficient execution.

The candidate will work 40 hours per week with required overtime and on-call response during outages, including extended periods during planned outages.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of instrumentation, control systems and electrical experience.
• Knowledge of power utility industry standards and NFPA 70.
• Ability to interpret schematics and drawings and work safely outdoors.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, troubleshoot, and calibrate plant instrumentation, control systems and electrical equipment.
• Interpret engineering drawings and create marked-up field prints.
• Perform calibration and electrical testing, including transmitter and valve calibrations.
• Support outages with on-call response and outage execution.
