Job summary

IC&E Tech operates a 90MW natural gas-fired, combined-cycle plant in Las Vegas, NV, requiring skilled technicians to maintain instrumentation and control systems. The role covers troubleshooting electrical motors, switchgear, transformers, and PLCs, with a focus on safety and regulatory compliance.

The position requires 3 years of instrumentation and electrical experience in an industrial setting, with the ability to work a 24/7 shift and be eligible for night duty as needed.

Qualifications

• 3 years instrumentation experience in industrial control environments.
• 3 years' experience as an electrician in industrial settings with medium/high voltage components.
• Knowledge of electrical theory and concepts required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and evaluate site instrumentation; perform calibration per CMMS.
• Document findings and pursue corrective actions.
• Maintain electrical and control systems; troubleshoot PLCs.
• Work with 13.8 kV equipment and safety standards.
• Read and interpret P&ID and electrical drawings.
