Job summary

Reading, PA location: Luminant Power LLC seeks an Instrumentation, Controls and Electrical Technician to operate and maintain a combined cycle plant safely and efficiently. You will handle CEM systems, high voltage equipment, and Siemens controls, coordinating with vendors and document control in Maximo.

The role requires a high school diploma, 4–6 years of industrial electrical experience, and strong mechanical/electrical skills, with knowledge of 501F turbines and KN steam turbines preferred.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience with industrial electrical equipment troubleshooting and maintenance.
• Experience with high/medium voltage equipment and plant electrical systems.
• Ability to read P&ID drawings and follow electrical/mechanical diagrams.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Own continuous emissions monitoring and electrical maintenance to keep plant running safely.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and calibrate equipment like breakers, transformers, pumps and sensors.
• Manage write-up of work orders and document time/materials in Maximo.
• Oversee electrical contractor work and coordinate with vendors as needed.
• Ensure panels, schedules and P&ID drawings are updated and accurate.
