Job summary

Luminant Power LLC in Reading, PA seeks an Instrumentation, Controls & Electrical Production Technician for a 2x1 combined cycle power plant. You will ensure safe, efficient operation and maintenance of Siemens 501F turbines and KN steam turbine, with focus on CEMs and safety systems.

Qualifications

Demonstrated experience with industrial electrical equipment troubleshooting and maintenance.
Two year Electrical/Mechanical Technology Degree.
Knowledge of high voltage systems and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoots, repairs, and calibrates equipment such as breakers, transformers, pumps, motors and sensors.
Maintains and updates electrical and controls P&IDs and panel schedules.
Oversees electrical contractors for day-to-day work and outages.
Coordinates with vendors for parts and services and documents work in the system (Maximo).
Responds to unit trips and abnormal conditions to keep the plant safe and reliable.
