Job summary

A national energy company is seeking a skilled technician for their Ivanpah Generating Station in Nipton, CA. The ideal candidate will have five years of instrumentation maintenance experience and a strong understanding of safety protocols. Responsibilities include installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining all plant instrumentation. The position requires hands-on skills with testing equipment, as well as the ability to work individually and in a team. Qualifications

• Five (5) years' experience in instrumentation maintenance, preferably in a power plant.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, calibrate, and maintain instrumentation for the plant.
• Recognizes safety hazards and follows safety guidelines.
• Uses test equipment and hand tools for troubleshooting.

Skills

Proficiency reading and interpreting logic diagrams

Strong analytical, problem solving, and critical thinking skills

Ability to work without supervision

Education

High School diploma or equivalent
